Synopsis

American Loneliness tells the story of filmmaker Mathieu Le Lay’s solitary journey to one of the most attractive regions on the planet: the American West. During a six-week bivouac adventure through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Washington, he met Kier Atherton along the way. Together they travelled from south to north across Montana to Glacier National Park. From the snowstorms of Yellowstone to the wild Pacific coast, via the verdant forest of Olympic National Park, this is the story of his quest for freedom in the great wilderness.
