When talking about deforestation, we hear chainsaws and bulldozers: dehumanised actions rhyming with excessive profits. Here, none of that. Just the daily pressure of a peaceful fishing village on the surrounding forest in northeastern Madagascar. However, the result is similar : the forest is still receding and the problems are multiplying. Through testimonies, we understand the causes and discover the challenges associated with this deforestation.
